Some folks working ServCorp logo

1.     Come volunteer with us on our local construction projects. We work most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in the Asylum Hill neighborhood of Hartford from 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. You don’t need to be exceptionally skilled or have access to tools. We will teach you and guide you.  You will find we enjoy a sense of camaraderie and fellowship, and have fun as we work!

2.     Sign up for an upcoming Mission Trip.  One volunteer expressed the experience this way:    “Often we have the opportunity to meet the home owner early on in the process.  That is when it hits you that you are going to have a major impact on this person's or family's     life. The home owners are so appreciative that they shed tears of gratitude that you cared enough to give your time and talents to help them.  I have never left a community service      trip that I didn't feel that I got back as much from the home owner in gratitude and prayers as the work I gave to them.”

3.   Donate. ServCorps is a 501c)3) publicly supported charity, and your donation is tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Make your check payable to ServCorps Inc. and send to 814 Asylum Avenue, or click here to make an online donation.  Sponsor an intern, and make a difference!

4.   Introduce us to young people who you think might benefit from taking time off after high school

to perform a community service internship.
